  1. Overview & Hosting

This policy describes how GenWrite collects, uses, retains, and deletes Google user data, in compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy and OAuth verification requirements.
It is hosted at https://genwrite.co/privacy-policy on our verified domain and linked in both our site footer and the OAuth consent screen.

  1. Data Collected / Accessed
  • Google Account via OAuth (basic profile scope): email and name for identification.
  • Google Search Console API: search analytics (impressions, clicks, CTR, queries) for domains you own/manage, with your explicit consent.
  • Google Ads API: we use only our own Google Ads account. You are not asked to grant any Ads API permissions or share your ad-account data.
  • Google Analytics & Tag Manager: aggregated, anonymized usage metrics; no personally identifiable information (PII) processed.
  • Cookies: none are used at this time.
  1. Purpose & Use of Data
  • Search Console Data: displayed exclusively in your GenWrite dashboard; never shared or used for model training.
  • OAuth Profile Data: only for secure login and personalization. No other Google scopes requested.
  • Analytics Data: aggregated to improve functionality; never tied to individuals.
  1. Data Retention & Deletion
  • Search Console Data: kept only as long as needed; deleted when your account is deleted or you revoke access.
  • OAuth Profile Data: retained until account deletion or access revocation.
  • Anonymized Analytics Data: stored indefinitely in aggregate form; no individual identifiers.
  • Deletion Requests:
  • Email support@genwrite.co to request full deletion of your Google-related data.
  • We’ll complete deletion within 7 business days of your request.
  • You may also revoke GenWrite’s access via Google Account → Security → Third-party apps.
  1. Security & Compliance

We adhere to Google’s Limited Use policies: data use is strictly limited to purposes disclosed here. We employ encryption, secure hosting, and role-based access controls to protect all user data and API credentials.

  1. User Rights & Transparency
  • View or delete your data by emailing support@genwrite.co.
  • Revoke GenWrite’s Google access in your Google Account permissions.
  • Any material revisions to this policy will appear here with a new “Last Updated” date; continued use implies acceptance.
  1. Cookies & Tracking

We currently do not use cookies or other tracking mechanisms. Should this change, we will update this section, disclose purpose, and obtain any required consents under GDPR, CCPA, etc.

This policy meets all Google OAuth & API Services requirements—including scope justification, limited use, data-retention and deletion disclosures—and is hosted on our verified domain (genwrite.co) as required for verification.
